A spectacular weekend of the finest turf racing with 11 Group races over the weekend. The Arc is not only Europe's most prestigious race but with a new partnership between France Galop and The Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, it has become the world’s richest turf race. This festival of racing is a showcase of the greatest Thoroughbred horses from all over Europe and now, for the first time during this meeting, Longchamp will be hosting four International races for Pure Arabian horses. One of these four Arabian races, the Qatar Arabian World Cup, to be run on Arc day, will become the richest Arabian race in the world. Through our special partnership with Horse Racing Abroad we are able to offer you total flexibility with regard to your choice of hotel and transport arrangements, allowing you to "mix and match" to suit your requirements. Our packages are fully inclusive, comprising escorted transfers in Paris on arrival/departure and from your hotel to Longchamp on race days with racecourse admission provided. In addition, our staff are on hand both in your hotel and at the course to ensure the smooth running of your weekend from start to finish. Horse Racing Abroad Pavilion
Since 1981, Horse Racing Abroad has leased its own private grandstand at Longchamp known as the "Pavilion".
Within this area we are proud to be able to offer our clients the very best in racecourse catering, plus betting arrangements designed to keep queues to a minimum. The Pavilion is now “the place to be” at Longchamp as far as the British turfists are concerned! Many famous faces of the British Racing fraternity are to be seen enjoying a casual lunch in the self-service restaurant or a celebratory drink at the bar! Entrance to the Horse Racing Abroad Pavilion is included in your tour price along with a reserved seat in the grandstand. When planning our Arc program we take into account comments and suggestions from our clients, as it is through communication with lovers of horseracing that we continue to be "Number One at Longchamp". We are very fortunate to have had a long and close relationship with the French Jockey Club, the authorities at Longchamp. Each year we jointly continue our refurbishment programme of this Listed Building to enable us to achieve the quality of service that we strive to maintain in our exclusive Pavilion area. To assist our clients within the Pavilion area, we have English race commentaries on both Saturday and Sunday. Viewing
The private grandstand of Horse Racing Abroad provides 1,200 reserved seats and is between one and one and a quarter furlongs before the finishing line, with excellent viewing of the course. From your seat you will be able to see all the action round the long turn at Longchamp and the positioning of the horses as they make their final run on the three furlong straight. Access The Pavilion area is privately enclosed with Security Staff checking badges at the entrance. Please ensure that your badge is visible at all times to avoid delays. Betting You will find 12 fully computerised Tote (Pari Mutuel) booths in the main hall of the Pavilion Grandstand. Bets may be made with a minimum stake of €2.00 or any multiple thereof and they may be placed, and winnings collected, at the same window. Although most of the French Tote (Pari Mutuel) employees in our Pavilion speak English, we also have our own staff on hand at the betting windows to help with any language or betting difficulties. Totesport Club As in previous years, "Totesport Club" accountholders may place their bets with the Tote's English staff at their stand in the main hall of the Pavilion on Arc Day. No queuing, no currency problems and no language difficulties. Totesport Club’s own staff will look after you. If you do not have an account, and would like one, please call 0800 666160. Bureau De Change We are pleased to be able to offer our clients a Bureau de Change service inside the Pavilion area itself. The rate of exchange is set by the authorities at Longchamp. Cloakroom For your convenience, a “vestiaire” is located in the hall of the Grandstand. Pavilion Badges This badge will give you access to all areas of the Horse Racing Abroad Pavilion including a covered, reserved viewing seat, racing papers and a racecourse programme on both Saturday and Sunday. Arc day is a very special day in the racing and social calendar and gentlemen are requested to wear jacket and tie for admission into the Pavilion area. We fully appreciate that a day’s racing, however exciting, is also very tiring and the copious amounts of fresh air also work up an appetite!
Unfortunately, the public areas of Longchamp Racecourse provide only very limited catering facilities for both food and drink and it is for this reason that we have developed such a wide choice within our own Pavilion Grandstand. In this way, your day’s racing at Longchamp will be more comfortable, less tiring and above all more enjoyable! FOOD AND DRINK Self Service Restaurant Incorporated into the Pavilion Grandstand, you will find our Marquee Restaurant where you can obtain a buffet lunch comprising both hot and cold dishes, including seafood. A selection of wines and beers are on hand to provide the perfect accompaniment to your meal! The restaurant seats 250 people at any one time and the television monitors ensure you keep in touch with the action! Champagne Bar Serving a choice of quality champagnes! Point of No Return Bar The "Point of No Return" Bar serves a wider choice of wines & beers than you would otherwise find in the public bars at Longchamp. The increase in prestige of the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe Weekend and the quality of racing has resulted in a demand from both individuals and companies for hospitality facilities appropriate to the occasion itself. Indeed, many people now consider Longchamp on Arc Day a major entertainment venue for Blue Chip companies.
Located on the ground and first floor of the Pavilion Grandstand, our Luncheon Rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. They hold up to 50 guests at tables seating 8 persons and may be booked on an exclusive or shared facility basis. This allows both companies and individuals to entertain their valued guests in an elegant, relaxed setting and to enjoy a splendid day's racing at a more leisurely pace. Each Luncheon Room on the first floor, which we use for our Platinum Packages, is equipped with a private bar, TV monitors and betting stands. The Chantilly Salon, situated on the ground floor, is reserved for our Gold Package clientele, and is also equipped with private bar and TV monitors however the betting terminals are adjacent to the facility as opposed to within the facility.
You and your guests can watch the racing either on the monitor from the comfort of your table, or from your reserved grandstand seats which, on the first floor, are directly accessed from the Luncheon Room. An apéritif and canapés will be offered to you and your guests on arrival and a first class, four course lunch with wines will be served at your table, followed by afternoon coffee and petits fours. The Hotel de Crillon, built in 1758, at the same time as Place de la Concorde was constructed, is located in the heart of Paris. Stand at the centre of Place de la Concorde and look east to the Palace of the Louvre then look west to the Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe with, in the distance La Defense, all in a straight line! The Hotel de Crillon is renowned for the highest level of personalised service and its elegantly restored rooms successfully combine the grace of authentic tradition with the efficiency of today’s needs. Its public rooms are furnished with 17th and 18th century tapestries and the gourmet restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs, the former ballroom of the Dukes de Crillon, was renovated in 2004. The hotel also has the Obélisque restaurant together with the Piano Bar and Winter Garden lounge. 
Our flagship hotel for many years, the Méridien is a mere 15 minute walk from the Etoile and the Champs Elysées. There are several good restaurants and a variety of bistros within the immediate area, as well as a métro and bus stops for easy access into the heart of Paris. With 2 restaurants, The L’Orénoc and La Terrasse du Jazz, and the famous Jazz Club where many top, world-class jazz bands play nightly, the Méridien has everything you need for a sophisticated weekend in Paris. Each of its 1027 guest rooms and suites has an ensuite bathroom, direct dial telephone, cable/satellite TV, Internet access, safe, airconditioning, 24-hour room service, hairdryer, radio and minibar.
The Hotel Mercure Paris Bercy is located near the Gare de Lyon in a quiet district in the south east of Paris and has a large terrace overlooking Bercy Parc. The area has excellent transport connections to the centre of Paris. The hotel has been refurbished within the past year and its 364 rooms are equipped with en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, radio, voicemail, safe and WiFi wireless Internet access. The hotel features a restaurant and bar, both of which open onto a verdant terrace. The hotel also has a car park.
We are delighted to be returning to the Hotel Paris Neuilly. A small, contemporary-style hotel located between Port Maillot and the business district of La Defense. Metro and bus stops are situated opposite the hotel and the immediate area offers a variety of restaurants and bistros with a local market close by. All guest rooms have en-suite bathroom, T.V., telephone and minibar. In our opinion, this hotel offers very good value for money and has been a popular choice amongst our clients through the years.
The Ampere has become a firm favourite, ideally located in the 17th arrondissement in close proximity to the Champs Elysees and the centre of Paris. The immediate area abounds with a variety of restaurants and bars. The hotel features a small patio garden, restaurant and lounge bar, whilst its 102 guest rooms are pleasantly appointed with en suite bathroom, hair dryer, radio, cable T.V., minibar, direct dial telephone and air conditioning.
